I was gone for about 35 days or so since Funerary 20th till bout today morning.

I'm currently serving my country(Singapore) in their National Service system. In this system all able men of the age 18 have to serve the country for 1 and half to 2 years in the army/civil defense/police force for a small pay whereby you apparently learn how to manage your money and be proud for your nation.

On the 22nd of February I was charged for the assault of a senior at camp, I was sentenced to 30 days in Detention Barracks for punishment. Later that afternoon I was sent to their Detention Barracks which is essentially a military prison for the servicemen. There I spent about 23 hours a day in my cell which has nothing but a toilet and a wall pipe for water.
We wake up at 5am everyday, have breakfast at 8 we go down to the courtyard and have our master parade and a morning run and some "light" punishment (push ups etc...) cos we talk too much during the runs (what do you expect we are bored sitting in the cell all day). We have lunch at about 11.30-1.00. Shower time is at 4, dinner at 5.30 and go to bed at 9-10.

So on the 22nd of March 10.30am i was released. I'm happy to be back, my first submission to Artician since release was earlier this afternoon of a shot I took at a friends house yesterday evening.
